MBS
Food & Beverage

Ship the freshest pallet, never the expiring one

Shelf life is money on the clock. MBS runs strict FEFO, temperature zones and full lot recall on one platform - so the dock always picks the batch that should go out next, and you can prove every ingredient's journey in seconds.

What slows Food & Beverage floors down

The everyday problems - and what MBS does about them

Stock written off because it expired in the racks.

Strict FEFO and expiry alerts surface aging lots before they turn into write-offs.

A recall means quarantining everything just to be safe.

Lot genealogy pinpoints the exact affected pallets, so you isolate grams not tonnes.

Cold-chain breaks discovered too late, after the load ships.

Per-zone temperature logging flags excursions the moment they happen.

Trace a yoghurt batch from tanker to truck

Every move is stamped with lot, expiry and temperature. When a supplier issues a recall, you pull the exact pallets in minutes - not a warehouse-wide quarantine.

Built for the vertical

Everything Food & Beverage operations actually need

FEFO & shelf-life

Picking is driven by best-before dates, with configurable minimum-life rules per customer.

Temperature zones

Ambient, chilled and frozen zones with logging and excursion alerts on every move.

Recall in minutes

Trace any lot up to its suppliers and down to every customer it reached.

Allergen & QC holds

Quarantine, release and segregate batches so allergens never reach the wrong line.

We used to lose a pallet a week to expiry and dread the word recall. Now FEFO does the thinking and a recall trace takes a coffee break, not a night shift.

Food & Beverage questions, answered

Does MBS handle catch-weight products?

Yes. Variable-weight items are tracked by both unit and actual weight, with capture at receiving and dispatch.

Can we enforce minimum remaining shelf life per customer?

Each customer can carry its own minimum-life-on-receipt rule; MBS won't allocate a lot that breaches it.

How fast is a recall trace?

Lot genealogy is indexed both ways, so tracing an affected batch to every shipment is typically seconds, not hours.
